Klaipėdos transekspedicija UAB was established in 1993. At the start of our operation we were involved in freight forwarding from Western Europe to Lithuania and Baltic countries and the arrangements for trailer re-coupling at Klaipeda Seaport Ferry Terminal and their transportation.

In 1995 we established cooperation with transport and freight forwarding companies in the Nordic countries. Less-than-truckload transport was already well-developed in Sweden at the time which provided good possibilities for us to develop less-than-truckload transport services based on mutual cooperation. Over several years, transport of goods to Sweden grew into the main business of our company.  

In 1998 Norway was added as our destination for deliveries of goods. At the same time a close cooperation with partners from Sweden and Norway was established. Long-term and reliable relationships with the business partners based in the Nordic countries have remained as a priority in our business to this day.   

In 2003 our company started new business activities including transportation of oversized and heavy cargoes, with the first specialized vehicles for transportation of oversize cargoes acquired.    

In 2016, we opened facilities based in Vilnius for transport of oversize and heavy goods.
